On the piazza in Cagli. My favorite hang out while I was staying there. Warm nights, wine, and gelato…great memories.

What really makes this shot good is the warm light on the lower left hand side of the photo. It’s a great angle, and it’s great composition. You got the focus in just the right spot. And the warmth of the tiles that are close to the front really take it to the next level. You should be proud of this shot.
*blush* Thank you! I really am proud of this…I took it while in a photography class in Italy – looking through my photos from Italy reminds me of how out of practice I am 🙂
My Girlfriend got into photography very recently. She works at a dance studio and takes the pictures, so she was taking photos at minimum once a week, but nearly every day. And her learning curve was extremely sharp. I was actually starting to get jealous. And then it occurred to me that nothing is stopping me from taking photos every day.
So that’s when I started my daily challenge. When I really have a case of “don’t wanna’s” I give in from time to time. I give myself a leeway of once a week I can not do it.
I aim for new subjects every day, although I’ve had a few repeats.
I’ve been doing it for six weeks and the sharp uptake in my skills is amazing. I can’t wait to see what my skills will be in 6 months or a year.
I’m not setting a time period for how long I’m doing a daily challenge, I wanted to do it for at least 3 months every day and then see where the mood takes me.
If you try something like this you will start to see the world differently. You will be amazed at how much you can find in your own home and back yard.
I think I will try that…though I may not post every day. Thanks for the idea and advice!
I like your stuff, keep at it! We can encourage each other and be photo buddies!
Let’s do it 🙂
I totally didn’t notice the light there at first, but now that u mention it, this picture would be way less effective without it. 🙂
🙂 thank you!
Very nice. Great lines and tonality. Three thumbs up 😉
Wow – thank you, thank you!! 🙂
Its amazing what a creative mind can do to make a sidewalk look amazing.
Thank you! 🙂
I’m shaking my head as I’m looking at it, it’s just beautiful. Probably one of the best photos I’ve seen in the WordPress blogosphere. I cant believe it’s a sidewalk. Two thumbs way up.
Thank you so much!! Really…wow…what a compliment ((blushing))
Excellent shot! a very smart choice for this theme 🙂
Thank you so much!!
And again a marvelous photo, you are really talented and have ‘the eye’ 🙂
Wow…everyone is making me blush 🙂 Most of the time I think I am just lucky. Thank you so much – your comments mean a lot to me!!
Excellent perspective and composition. I’m also glad to see someone else who’s willing to get down on the ground for a shot 🙂 Well done!
Lol! Thank you! I have also been known to lean over cliffs on my stomach 🙂
Nice! You can come take pictures with me any time! I’ve been known to get more than a little wet, muddy, and cold to get the shot. And I survive to photograph yet again 😀
As do I! 🙂
Nothing like a little “outside the box” thinking to get the creative juices flowing.
That’s a cool shot. 😉
Thank you!! 🙂
As everyone has said its amazing… To me it’s full of personality, I don’t know how to explain. It’s like you saw this when everyone else just walked by and I love it.
Honestly your amazing and I totally have a girl crush on you ; )
(a harmless one of course)
Aww…thank you so much!! And thanks for making me giggle about the girl crush! 🙂
Of course… It’s quite pleasant to giggle

I love this photo. I’ve talked my wife’s ears off as to why it’s a great photo, I think it’s only appropriate that I share it with others that may have not seen it. In my humble opinion, it’s one of the best images in the WordPress blogosphere.
This is a great shot, very artisitic, and perfect for the theme!
Thank you!!! 🙂
