Sunrise in the Great Plains

Posted on Updated on

One of the things I like about this time of year is that sunrises are not so ridiculously early…I actually get the chance to enjoy one from time to time. These photos were taken minutes apart – the more colorful of the two was taken first, as the sun was just beginning to make its journey across the Minnesota sky.

Yes! I know exactly what you mean. I’m no stranger to getting up insanely early for sunrise, but now through spring is SO much nicer, being able to “sleep in” a little.

Both great photos too. The sky in the first one is amazing.

Awesome! Great moment to have the camera. Love the tree and sky juxtaposition.

Thank you! I was very glad I waited until the last minute to pack my camera in my luggage πŸ™‚
